We welcomed Evelyn into our home just after Christmas and even though we were excited we did not know what to expect. We were excited and nervous and not sure how the whole thing would work.

We recently adopted and I was worried about having someone else raise my child but it is not like that at all.  Evelyn has become part of the family and works with us to make sure he is taken car of.  There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t feel thankful for her.  She not only takes care of our son when we need it, she also takes care of us.

Now when I am working I know that our son is in really good hands, she is amazing with him and as a new mom of a 4 year old, I am learning lots of things as well since she has been doing this a lot longer than I have.  I sometimes work at home and can hear them together singing and laughing and I know that I can spend the time I need to on my business and know he is in great hands.

Not only does she take care of him when my husband and I are working but she is also taking care of my house, for the first time in years there is no dog hair on my pillow when I go to bed at night.

Our biggest challenge is helping Evelyn find things to do other than work.

I am very thankful that my sister strong-armed me into calling Paula (of Canada’s Best Nannies) and that lead us to Evelyn.

After making the choice to invest in the opportunity of a live in nanny we now needed to find an agency.  The first thing i do is google "nannies, Ontario".  Of course pages and pages of websites show up and now i need to start "clicking."  A couple of websites looked user-friendly so i start to go through and read up on some. 

After that i decided to make contact and ask a couple questions regarding my personal situation.  Only one replies, and within the hour.  It just so happens that it is the one that i chose in being the classiest looking and most detailed.  It was Canadas Best Nannies.  Many of my questions were answered that week, and trust me, i had many!  The replies were always very friendly, specific to my situation and just as fluent as the first. 

I found myself looking through the nannies biographies and pictures, (which none of the other sites offered),  and contacted only a couple for "over the phone interviews" before connecting with one that sounded perfect!  I knew there was a connection when we were laughing together and found we were the same age!  I immediatly emailed Lisa and Paula (who are so patient and helpful), and told them i would love to hire her.  Everything after that, meaning all the paper work, was handled efficiently and confidentially.  I had no hesitations that i was doing the right thing.  We met our nanny at the airport 4 months later and she automatically started the bond with my 3 sons!!

I have had the pleasure of employing our nanny now for 1 year and am so thankful that when i get home i can actually play with my children instead of stressing over homework, dinner, bathing, laundry and tidying.

I have to thank Canada's Best Nannies  for such a smooth transition for my family and i think for my nanny as well.  I still have the odd question for them and of course still get a very sincere, honest and friendly reply.  I have told many people of this agency and would recommend it to any family looking for a nanny.

I appreciate everything and would never hesitate to cantact them if i had to do it all again!

My husband and I have never had a nanny for our two kids before and so we had many questions and concerns about the whole process to begin with.  Paula, the "Canadian Connection", with whom we dealt with the most, was helpful, patient and understanding of our many questions from the very first phone call.  She laid out the whole process from beginning to end in an easy to understand way and was there to guide us with every step, right from interviewing nannies on the website to helping us with what needed to be done once our nanny arrived.  Lisa was quick to help out and answer questions on the Hong Kong side.  Together they make a great team.
 
We chose Monina after interviewing several nannies on the website, all of whom I'm sure would have been great.  We liked the personal touch of being able to speak with, and interview, the nannies ourselves.  That all the nannies are interviewed personally and provide references, which are checked by Lisa, is very reassuring.  For her part, Monina chose the agency to represent her for these very reasons as well.
 
The result, for us,  was finding  a wonderful, gentle, kind, loving nanny for our kids, whose sense of humour and personality is a wonderful fit with our family.  The transition of her arrival into our home was smooth and easy, with no surprises  After only one month, we can't imagine her not here with us.  We are all very happy!  Thanks again!

It is my great pleasure to write this letter of reference for Canada's Best Nannies; in fact, I offered to do this since I have been so pleased with this agency.

Canada's Best Nannies is actually Canada's best nanny agency - hands down.  I had previously used several other nanny agencies and did not appreciate the high pressure ("You have 24 hours to hire this nanny.") sales tactics nor the way the nannies appear to be screened - which, in some cases, seems to be no screening at all.

The nannies represented at Canada's Best Nannies have been carefully selected with a thorough interview and reference check.  And I liked the fact that Lisa Hynes (who is the agency Director) lives in Singapore and has direct and frequent contact with the nannies.  She gets to know these women and is able to answer questions about the nannies that most other agencies cannot.  My daughter has a severe peanut allergy so finding the right nanny who could cope with that (and cope with my anxieties!) was crucial and I was not sure it could be done. But I trusted Lisa and we have hired an amazing nanny.

The other thing I liked about Canada's Best Nannies (which also consists of Paula Best who is based in St. Catharines, Ontario and takes care of all the paperwork, immigration processing, etc.) is they represent only the nannies they themselves would hire.

They truly are a boutique agency - the perfect agency for any Canadian family who wants a truly extraordinary nanny.  I honestly think I would have been happy with any of their nannies.

Both Lisa and Paula have founded a company that is extremely responsive to its clients (my questions or concerns were always quickly and pleasantly answered), trustworthy and high in integrity.  This is an agency I would recommend to any of my friends without hesitation.  If I ever need another nanny, I will use only Canada's Best Nannies.
