How to hire a live-in nanny in Canada
Here are the steps involved in hiring a live-in nanny:
  1. Read about our nannies in our gallery and select those in which you are the most interested.


    2.
  2. Go to our "Register" page and complete the form. We will contact you within 48 hours. You may also e-mail paula@canadasbestnannies.com or call (905) 682-1299.


    3.
  3. Conduct telephone interviews with the nannies. You may also talk to former employers. We will provide those phone numbers upon request.


    4.
  4. We will file your application asking for permission to sponsor the nanny into Canada. All you have to do is sign the documents we send you and fax them back to us.


  5. We guide your nanny through the application and interview process with the Canadian Consulate.


    6.
  6. Your nanny arrives approximately four to six months later. We take care of her flight details and will let you know when to pick her up at the airport.


    7.
  7. We will teach you how to register as an employer and how to pay income tax on your nanny’s salary.
