Christine Joy Chelim has a chirpy personality and a pleasant
disposition. She describes herself as optimistic and hardworking and
has been described by her former employer as dependable and
trustworthy.
Christine has been working in Hongkong with the same family since
February of 2009. Her main responsibility is taking care of a
7 year old child - preparing her breakfast and packing her lunch before
going to school. After school, Christine helps her ward with
her homework and makes sure her school bag is organized for the next
day. She then prepares dinner for the family and gets the
daughter ready for bed.
Before going to Hongkong, Christine worked at the Northern Christian
College in Philippines as an Instructor in the College of
Nursing. Her boss, Dr. Ernesto Ma. Cadiz, Dean of Graduate
School gave Christine a glowing recommendation:

Christine likes to cook. She knows several Chinese dishes,
some of which are porkbone/shank with dried octopus and hairy melon
soup, oxtail soup, sharkfin soup, sweet and sour chicken and stir fried
noodles. Christine can also prepare pasta like spaghetti or
macaroni in white sauce with mushroom and minced meat.
During her spare time, she likes reading books, watching movies,
solving sudoku and crossword puzzles, surfing the net, playing and
teaching kids. Christine is not allergic to pets.
She is willing to work anywhere in Canada.
