Cantor: AVAILABLE
Liberty describes
herself as confident, honest, enthusiastic and caring to others. She is
also hardworking, someone who wants to work to the best of her
ability.
She worked in Hong Kong as early as 1999 and stayed with the same
family for eight years. When she was employed there, her immediate
responsibility was to take care of the family's newborn
babies.
Liberty's responsibilities included preparing meals and assisting the
children at mettime. She also provided the children with
creative
activities to stimulate their imagination. In addition, she
prepared them for play school and, consequently, accompanied them when
they began primary school. Liberty also did household chores
such
as ironing, cleaning the house and laundry.
In 2007, Liberty left for Canada and worked with her employer as a
live-in caregiver until her contract ended inFebruary 2010.
Primarily, her responsibility was to take care of their nine year old
son, a special needs child and his two siblings. Liberty
would
give him medication and assist him in his special daily care
activities. Furthermore, she took care of the day to day
needs of
the other two kids, thus helping the family to enjoy quality time at
home. Her other responsibilities included doing housework,
laundry and cooking.
Liberyt comes highly recommended by her Canadian employer, saying that:
Quote 1:
"She is wonderful and fantastic. She was with us for 2 and a
half
years and was like part of the family. She would usually take
the
children to the park and went on outings with them using public
transportation. She joined in their activities such as
colouring
and drawing. I was very pleased with her performance".
Quote 2:
When asked to rate Libertys performance on a scale of one to
ten
the immdeiate respoinse was "Ten out of ten! My children
still
miss her and loved having her care for them".
As the children are now all of school age, the family no longer
requires a full-time nanny. Even though she is no longer with them,
Liberty still keeps in contact with the family and sees them during
special events such as the daughter's dance recital.
