Glacel Estepa: AVAILABLE

 Glacel Estepa describes herself as hardworking with a strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to learn.  She has a good sense of humor and is patient and loving with children.  Glacel finds fulfillment in tutoring and nurturing kids.

Glacel came to Hongkong in 2005 to work as a nanny, and is still with the same family she started out with (we always consider this an excellent indicator of a nanny's future success).  The family's only child was only seven month's old when Glacel arrived.  The girl is now six years old and Glacel's responsibilities have evolved from looking after a baby to playing with an active child and preparing her for school.   Glacel accompanies her ward to school and tutors her in Math and English.  She also does housework, cooking and grocery shopping.

Before going overseas, Glacel worked as a live-in nanny in Philippines from 2002-2004.  She took care of their two year old baby.  We were able to interview her former employer, Mrs. Reyes, and she only had good things to say about Glacel:

Glacel loves to cook!  She can whip up Chinese and local Filipino dishes.  She also knows several Western dishes - in particular, pasta such as Spaghetti in tomato sauce with meatballs or ham, Carbonara and Lasagna (dangerous for low carb dieters!).  She can also prepare hamburgers with red bell peppers, potatoes in tomato and chili sauce, sweet potato chowder, different kinds of salads and chili-grazed chicken.

Glacel likes reading, drawing and is into music.  Her spare time is spent surfing the net, meeting friends and going to the park.  She is a nature lover and is not allergic to pets. Glacel is willing to work anywhere in Canada and is available for immediate employment.
